Hi all...
I can't believe it's been eleven days since I last blogged...
Anyway, we've got a whole bunch of new stuff:
More and better giftware...
More concrete statuary and wall plaques...
More sterling silver pentacle rings and pendants (including some awesome new designs)...
Brand new *bronze* jewellery...
Some really amazing stones...
Our first book order with the new people...
More faeries and Egyptian themed items...
More wands...
Incense, incense, and more incense...
And coming soon:
New resin incenses including Black Ethopian, Celtic, Forest Blend and Pinon Pine...
In other news...after missing his appointment last week, Fred is booked in for this afternoon. I'll keep you posted...
And in other, other news...Aukeera Rayne will be coming to do psychic readings on Thursday June 26, a discussion on the evening of Friday June 27 (sounds a lot like a Fireside, doesn't it?) and book signing on Saturday June 28. It should be interesting...

I hope everyone out there is having a great long weekend so far (though I hear certain garden supply/greenhouse type places are in a state of zoo-like mayhem today)...
We *will* be open this coming Monday (Victoria Day), mostly because I didn't have the foresight to put up a sign on the door to day we would be closed. So...it's business as usual for us on Monday.
Other news...we've just gotten in more incense, more small charcoal disks, and some really cool star shaped paper lanterns (that go over light fixtures)...

Hello all...
I haven't had much of a chance to blog the last couple of weeks because we've been up to our eyeballs in work: mostly counting every single thing in the store. April 30 was our year end.
I know it doesn't look like we have a very big store here but trust me...we do. Or at least, we hae a small store with *lots* of stuff.
Anyway, with that nasty job (mostly - the fairies seem to keep multiplying like coat hangers in dark closet) behind us, we're able to focus on other stuff. Like getting new things in.
People have been commenting to us about how the store is looking a little picked over. One person even asked if we were going out of business. Nothing could be further from the truth! We're here for the long haul. We simply suspended our ordering cycle during the inventory count because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to get the stuff in just so we could count it.
Things to look forward to include a large shipment from one of our regular suppliers including more incense, pagan themed giftware and...new this year...garden stones with pentacles sandblasted onto them. Also coming soon: a shipment of stones and crystals including three of the carved quartz goddess statues (about six inches tall and have a space to display your favourite stone or artifact), more stone bracelets, tumbled ruby in kyanite, and even more stone pendulums.
With regard to books...that too has a story. Our current book supplier has been bought out by a much larger book supplier. Which is, in one sense a good thing because it means we're going to be able to get more titles. The bad news is, they're further away and as a result, we're not going to have the amazingly fast order turnaround time that we had before.
Other news...Where Faeries Live will have a table at PanFaire (a craft/artisan sale to help raise funds for PanFest). It'll be Saturday May 24 at Acacia Hall (one block west of Old Strathcona Farmers' Market).
And, finally, Fred has an appointment to see Dr. Lewis at the Spruce Grove Veterinary Hospital on May 21 for his pre-surgery evaluation. I'll keep you posted...
