So it was an awesome sale...
Thanks to everyone who came out and took advantage of the great deals...
And the games...
Well, apparently my "penny drop" game was a little too easy (lots of winners).
We've discovered that the reasonable working height for a tower of deer antlers is 40 inches. It's a very stable structure. In fact, it's still standing in the back room and likely will be until someone knocks it over (or the next Fireside Chat, whichever comes first). You're welcome to come have a look at it if you like.
And the answer to the "Jar O Stones" mystery is 518. Ben, who guessed 510, is our winner. He doesn't know it yet. We're going to call him tomorrow...
Our winners in the "Guess the Herb" contest got ten right out of twenty. I guess I made that one a little too hard. I really liked the creativeness and utter vagueness of some of the answers, like:
"Old Man's Finger"
"A Herb"
"Dustweed Root"
"Dillspore"
"A Stick"
"Baby Flowers"
"Bark"
and my personal favourite "Pungebits"
We've raised a fair amount for the Food Bank (I'm not entirely sure yet because I'm waiting for the "Penny Drop" money to dry before I count it.) Again, thanks to everyone who came out, especially in light of the fact that we were competing with the Ex.
And the weather. Don't even get me started on the weather. Yikes. We sure know how to pick a night for "Midnight Madness".
