So on Friday I placed three large orders with our suppliers with the idea that they should all come this week. Then, after the deed was done, I realized that three large orders are going to be arriving, with my luck, on exactly the same day, later on this week. So...don't give me points for intelligence or planning. That being said, there's going to be some awesome new stuff on the shelves...hopefully by Saturday.

Also, if anyone is planning to move, we'll likely have a few boxes and some packing material to give away.

On that note, if anyone has excess plastic bags from the grocery store that they're stockpiling with the idea that someday they might have a use...well, feel free to bring them down to the Store. We can use them (provided they don't have any holes or food in them). I'm astonished at how many bags we go through and I'm also very proud of all the people who are okay getting their stuff packed into a reused bag. It's a win-win as far as I'm concerned.

And yes, it is indeed Fireside Friday on the 11th. No one has offered to facilitate so it's going to be a social event. It will be "potluck cookie" style.

Please note that because the fourth Friday of the month is Christmas Day, there will be no Fireside. I realize it seems strange to for a Pagan store to observe a Christian holiday but hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Also, we will be closing at 5 pm on Christmas and New Year's Eve. We plan to be closed on New Year's Day as well. But, that being said, we are going to be open all the days in between.
