So I've been told by a blacksmith that I need to post more often to the blog or people will get bored. While I agree wholeheartedly in principle (and vow to do my absolute best), unfortunately I find I lose entire weeks of my life to everything else.
I guess what I'm saying is: I'll do my best. I'm not one foolish enough to argue with a man who swings a big hammer for a living.
Also, there are few things sadder than blogs that really don't say anything, that are just put up there because the author feels he or she needs to say something...anything...
And I just don't want this to be that kind of blog.
Anyway, seeing as I've gone this far and not really said anything yet...
What to say? We're gearing up for that big sale in a couple of weeks. Jennifer has entered about 2000 e-mail addresses into our book and we're going to be spamming the world in a couple of days.
I have to say how impressed I am with Jennifer's efforts and it's a crazy thing because our till system is technically set up to automatically download the addresses but for some reason, includes all of the contact information for the manufacturer. The last time we did an e-mail blitz, we ended sending our message to the supplier nine times. Needless to say they weren't amused. So this year we did it differently. Hats off to Jennifer, who managed to complete this herculean task in less than two weeks!
