26 October 2010

We've been getting new things in stock lately including more of the "Wicked Witch Mojo" line of candles as wells the "Motor City Hoodoo" brand.

Also of note, we have Devil's Showstring back in stock. Devil's Shoestring, according to Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs, is for protection, gambling luck, power, and employment. It is supposed to ward off evil if worn around the neck and protects the wearer against accidental poisoning. Gamblers carry a piece as a good luck charm. Another way to use it is to cut the root into small pieces and steep in whiskey mixed with spirits of camphor. When you need power of any kind, take out a piece of the root and rub your hands with it. Then use the root in the appropriate way (for example , if you want money, put it near your money or in your wallet). A piece of Devil's Shoestring carried in the pocket while seeking employment (or while having problems at work) will either help get you hired or will smooth out the difficulties at your current job. The book also says to carry a piece of Devil's Shoestring when asking for a raise in pay. All in all this is not a bad thing to keep around!
